this is my may day
This is how I spent my May day . . .

Saturday 10 May 2003

8 a.m. and time to get up and go for a walk.

At Carlene's for some delicious coffee and a carrot muffin.

On the walk home, we saw some pretty flowers.

Back at home, and out in the garden to check out the flowers, veggies, and other plants.

At the bank, getting some cash for grocery shopping.

At the shopping center, the firefighters were having their annual "Fill the Boot" drive for Muscular Dystrophy.

First we go to "The Little Store," otherwise known as the Discount Grocery Center. It's awesome! We got a full basket of groceries for under $14.00!

Next we stopped by Rite Aid to look at their garden statuary. I really want one of these Saints for my garden, but they're just too expensive!

All done with our shopping! It's almost 1 p.m. now, and time to head home for some lunch, a little playing around on the computer and maybe even a nap!

5:30 p.m. Relaxing with a little glass of wine.

Cooking dinner: herb crusted salmon, steamed zuccini and yellow squash, and sun-dried tomato risotto.

7 p.m. and time for my vitamin Z.

Dirty dishes.

Clean dishes.

8 p.m. and it's time to colour my hair.

My dental hygene routine: toothpicking, flossing and brushing.

10:30 p.m., and I'll spend a little time in the Word before turning in. I hope everyone had a wonderful May Day!

Cheers,
lisa-marie
